PE MS >> LC, colonization times? Worth the trouble?
    #13011703 - 08/06/10 10:47 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Hey guys, I've searched the forum and done a lot of reading, but I'm finding some conflicting information about MS > LC.

I have a syringe of PE being delivered soon and I'd like to try my hand at making LC.  This is not my first bulk grow, I plan to go MS > LC > Rye > poo, etc. in a monotub(s).

I know the LC is best made with live tissue, but I have none, and I'd like to speed up the colonization time of the Rye spawn.

I have access to jars, AA PC, malt/dextrose, etc.

I'm wondering about how long it will take the MS to colonize the LC, to the point where I can aspirate and 'noc up the Rye jars.  Is it even worth my time or should I just 'noc the jars straight up?  I plan on only using ~1cc for the LC so I'd still have 9cc remaining, plenty to just go straight 'noc if my LC fails for some reason.

Thanks for your help!

If you want to speed it up why not just use the ms syringe on the ryejar.

g2g that and when you get mushrooms use the tissue to make an LC.

MS to LC will only help you spread ms grows and that's only if the LC works.
