My harvest dried overnight!

I put em on newspaper on the floor of an empty bedroom with the ceiling fan going and then I put a small 3" fan right beside em on the newspaper. Over night and they are perfectly dried. Ended up with 7.8 grams of short, blue fungal fruits.

Blue, eh? And when you bend the stem does it crack right away or bend a bit?

theshroom question is mine also, just two fans, one on the celling, the other by the newspaper sounds a lil fishy, not saying if did not work, just curious how dry (over 12 hours? more or less?)they would be....no silica used? j/w...

That's what I'm saying, it seems unlikely that they'd be 100% dry with just a fan overnight.

North Carolina? I'm saying noway. Even here, much farther north, dried shrooms will rehydrate if not kept sealed. I doubt they would dry at all in that humidity let alone over-night.

Yeah the RH alone in the room would be enough to keep them from becoming perfectly dried. You want them cracker dry with no bend for best preservation.

Fungal is just getting going....he probably does not mean cracker-dry, as we like to put it here.
Fun: if you do not get "cracker dry" then if you bag the dried fruits (say, in a ziplock) you will find that they seem to rehydrate as the remaining moisture draws out and spreads around the bag.
The bend-test described above is relevant.
Good luck, and let us know how the little-blue-dudes work out.

I should clarify 'perfectly dried' They were not cracker dry, but I didn't want or need cracker dry. These babies wont last a week

This is what I thought may have happened since the previous flush took about three days to dry but were not on the carpet like these.

That is what happened. Just since bagging them up earlier today and now when I checked them in the ziplock they have already gotten softer. They don't feel 'wet' but they bend pretty freely with no snap, whereas when I first bagged them they gave a little then broke but didn't 'snap' But they still got a lot drier a lot faster than the previous ones which had a lot less moving air, and as I mentioned no carpet under the newspaper.

If they're not cracker dry be careful of rotting/mold.

How long would it usually take for mold to develop?
