Any recommendations on how one creates "open air" conditions an 34 cubic foot enclosure without making an shotgun design? An ambient RH martha/GH with adequit FAE measures.
*Ideally Air in 1 place and out 1 place...a "real" exhaust (out of the room the GH is in)
How much of that space can be occupied by 10" diameter straw log?
PS I know a lot of folks won't understand why its worth the trouble to do this but I just can't have Logs laying around the house and I dont have a whole room to dedicate to the hobby.

A mini greenhouse with adequate ventilation will work fine. All you need to do is cut slits in the sides, and/or leave the door partly open. RR

Thanks for the feedback. I'm changing my mood meter to Awesome!
How much of this space can be occupied by substrate?

I really don't want to misinterpret. So to be sure in my understanding.... the same humidity inside AND out of the mini greenhouse can be ordinary household humidity (for straw logs).
When you said "humidifier or two in the room" Did that mean a couple of humidifiers in the room containing the greenhouse not in the greenhouse?
...... No ultrasonic, coolmist frankenstein mumbo jumbo IN the GH just lots of slow fresh air above 40 Rh???
OR do I just keep misinterpreting things badly?

Sort of. Mushrooms love humidity, but they slightly favor fresh air.
Straw logs covered with the piece of plastic will fruit pretty well out in the room with no other means of humidification other than occasional mistings.
If you are building a greenhouse, then you want to provide humidification through a cool mist or ultrasonic humidifier on a timer.
