Shrooms seem super small

So this is my first time growing PES Amazonians and this is my first flush the mushrooms just seem super small and the yield off this one cake is probably only gonna be a couple grams dry. The only other strain i have grown was golden teachers and they seemed to be way bigger then again i did a casing rather than fruiting the cakes. i yielded wayyy more also now im not sure if its the strain or because i never cased it. anyway i hope my next flush is better. Anyone have any advice on what i maybe did wrong

Did you dunk for 24hrs before the flush? Provide decent FAE (not too much)? 90%-99% humidity?
These are just things that can impact the size of your flush, most people, probably you too lol, provide these conditions.
Dunking seems to change the overall fruit size. Too much FAE can cause short, fatties. Low FAE can cause CO2 buildup, and long lanky shrooms. High humidity saturation can cause overall big shrooms.
Also your cake looks small.

ya i dunked for 24hrs im using a pmp and i fan 4 times a day and mist twice 95 - 100 RH the cake is a standard 1/2 pint jar cake. does this look like a abnormally small flush ? i think from now on ill be casing way better results i was under the impression that i would yield around the same on cakes as i would on a 50/50 casing but apperantly not

You probably just need to tweak the setup a little bit. Looks like your close to nailing the right parameters.
I'm doin pes atm and am very happy. Very large, very dense fruits. It's not on cakes tho.
Can't blame ya for wanting to get away from cakes. I'm not a fan either.

so 2 cakes were done today and i got a wet harvest weight at 30.2 grams thats brutal there has to be a way to increase yield what am i doing wrong. i just built this pmp because i was going to keep doing cakes but now im gonna have to go back to casings to make it worth my while i hope that the pmp works good with casing trays in it .....

If you're simply fruiting cakes as cakes don't expect to get much from them. Spawning to a bulk sub or at the very least applying a casing layer will help your yields.

what you yielded from your cakes is probably about avg. cakes suck not even good for spore printing cause the mushrooms are so small. wbs and coir mix is the way to go you will yield up to 8x more with much larger mushrooms.

Mushroom size is directly related to substrate size.

okay that makes sense and no im defiantly not looking for sympathy im just wondering if i was doing something wrong. I was told in a thread earlyer that i would get the same yield from casing and cakes when im just doing the PF tek. I would love to try some grain or wbs but i dont really have the room in my place and i would like to get a few more PF TEks down first this is my 3rd grow ever the last two i did was with GT and they were cased in 50/50 verm/peat. And for pics of my pmp here ya go. I hand fan 4 times a day and mist also right now my RH is at 98% and its pretty constant.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong again, sorry.
BRF is accepted as having the highest BE. If you want bulk quantities, sure, use bulk substrates. I can assure you I've grown enormous frigging mushrooms from cakes. So big the cake couldn't stand up on its own.
My average harvest from a cake is about 100g wet. My biggest was more than 150g. 30g would be about what I'd expect from a third or fourth flush, right before I bury the cake in the garden.
If you made your substrate correctly, then small mushrooms probably indicate not enough water. Search for "double end casing" as a technique for keeping cakes well hydrated (hint: misting isn't sufficient to keep them hydrated)
