i couldnt believe it! my wife said i suddenly focused on something across this warehouse sized room
that is our s.a., and made a beeline for it. it was sitting up on end and i thought it was some kind of
laundry rack at first....then i saw it...

EXCALIBUR!!!

i couldnt have been more surprised if a lady rose out of lake erie and handed it to me.

Most dehydrators get used 2-3 times, then put away. Used ones almost always work.

Mid-range is good.

Too bad it doesn't have a "Mushrooms" setting.

Why not just keep it at 85, maybe 95, to be safe.  Higher temp will dry faster but not that much faster right?

Safe from what?
Faster they are dried and stored, safer they are.

I like 125F. Usually gets them dry within half a day, potency loss is not an issue.
