Mushrooms stopped growing...

I think because I packed the jar too tight, my growth has stalled. I had to hammer the jar open, because it was packed so tight and the pins were getting caught on the glass. Humidity has stayed in the 90's, my temps are fine, and I have 12-12 light cycles. They were invitro pins and don't seem to be getting any bigger. The biggest fruit so far has a flat cap from where it was pressed against the glass. Will it eventually produce spores? Or because it was invitro will not. None of the fruits have aborted, they just don't seem to be getting any bigger. They are golden teachers if that helps any. I didn't roll this cake, I just double ended it. I have been keep the top vermiculite pretty moist. IDK what to do anymore though. Any suggestions to help get them to start growing again? Or should I just pick them? Could I get spores from the big one without having to clone material? I think I remember reading that you could squirt distilled water through the cap or something and you would get enough spores that way. I don't remember though

Well I see 2 problems which leads you to a third and forth.
1. Need more perlite.
2. You need to get air under the shotgun so air can enter the holes under the shotgun. So put like a jar under each corner to elevate the shotgun.
So basically this leads to not enough FAE because the shotgun is not setup right and then the other problem can be if you don't add more perlite and then elevate the shotgun your Rh will drop..

Also you need to fan 5-6 times a day and mist 3-4..

I forgot to drill holes in the bottom : :. That is probably my main issue. I am fanning and misting about like you say. Is there any way I can drill the holes with the perlite still in it? Or should I go ahead and pick these and dunk my cake, empty the chamber of perlite, fix my newb mistake, and then fill it back up with that perlite and some more. It makes complete since NOW that the air would have to pass over the perlite to contribute more to the humidity, but I guess at the time, I was like a kid in a candy store and not paying attention. I can also move the whole setup to like a shelf or something. Right now it's on a bed. Which is probably not good either, since I guess the mattress would hold some contaminants. And the light was a "Grow Light" from walmart. I think it's a daylight and it has kind of a bluish hue to it. They didn't have any labeled "Daylight" lights that I saw. And there is another light in the room that I use for ambiance that is a compact fluorescent.

Well like I said u need holes in the bottom but u also need to elevate it so air gets circulating under the tub also u need more perlite cause once you drill holes and raise the tub your current amount of perlite will dry out really fast. U need at least 4 inches.

Take the cakes out and drill some holes real quick, shouldn't take you long.
Dont feel bad, some one else just did this last night.
Don't panic.

Should I dunk that cake while I'm fixing my chamber? Just to get extra moisture in it. I think I may just pick those, dunk it like I normally would, and then put it back in after rolling it. The mycelium should have PLENTY of nutes left, so it should still flush after I do that. I have two more jars that should be completely consolidated by Sunday, and I already have another set of jars that I got moisture content right and filled them properly that are awaiting inoculation. I may go ahead and order from one of the Shroomery vendors, because these spores came from Spores101, and that may also have something to do with it. I'm learning though, and next round should go a lot more smoothly. Just trying to iron out my kinks in my process in this first go so that next time, I have very good yields.

Do you have holes in the top? I can't tell. You need those too.
-------------------- Of course, then there's the problem of eating vermiculite. On the bright side, it makes your poop and teeth glitter. Just pretend it's christmas.

There are holes in the top. I think my reasoning against holes in the bottom was for some reason I thought the perlite would fall out, even with just 1/4" holes. I've had to tape up 2 rows of holes to try and equalize my humidity, but I think fixing it will fix all my issues.

Leave all holes un taped never tape them up. Depends on what your Rh is in your house. If need be get a coolmist and run it in the room with your shotgun this will help raise your ambient Rh and in turn raise the Rh in the shotgun. and yes you can dunk your cakes if you want to.
