I don't like Treasure Coast.

I have tripped shrooms before (I don't know which strain), but they tasted really good and I had an intense trip from 2 grams dry every time I took them (Nonstop visuals for about 6 hours, then a lasting mind trip of another 3-4 more hours). I tripped a lot from the shrooms I got from the same dealer. Then I know someone who tried growing them. They were Treasure Coasts. She grew some and it took a long time, but then I tried them. I ate 4 grams dry, and I didn't even get any visuals, and the head trip was very mild. I felt kinda like I took 1 or 2 hits of weed and that was it (and it lasted only an hour or so).

The other cakes got contaminated and the first one did too after I picked the shrooms, so this was all she got from the $70 kit.

They completely dried in about a day (I just put them over a fan). They tasted as good as the previous ones and looked the same. I am pretty sure drying wasn't the problem.

She will probably try growing again, she asked me if growbags are good. She asked if getting psilocybe azurescens is that the best choice.

azurescens are hard to grow and take much longer than cubes.

edit: you need woodchips to make an outdoor patch and you have to do agar work i think.

probably not the best choice, try a different strain of cubes first, or a different tek, not mention kits blow....

Would they be hard to grow in a growbag though?  It said don't worry about contaminations, syringes, etc.  and they guarantee you'll grow shrooms. :confused:

well if you want a more potent species that doesnt take as long you could always try Pan. cyanscens or something.

also if you want to grow better shrooms you need to think outside of the bag.

Yeah that does sound a lot like LSD
Psilocybe Azurescens would be pretty much impossible to grow in a grow-bag
The only way people can reliably cultivate them is by laying down a bunch of woodchips outside in spring and spawning them with some azurescens on woodchips or grain, and letting it colonise over the summer.. then when autumn comes they should fruit. This is only possible in relatively cool climates.

OK, I guess I won't try those, should I get a cubensis strain or the paneolus?

I know that's weird about the potent mushrooms.  I have done LSD before and it was a lot different than the mushroom trips so I thought they were just potent shrooms. :confused:  Either way, I got a good deal ($20 for an eigth ounce).  Now mushrooms and acid are scarce so my only chance of getting is from growing shrooms.

Have done quite a few differnt strains, of cube and wild, and I can say that off of 1.5 gs of wild "spitz kopf" I had an intense trip stronger then hawaiians or cubes, so you never know, may have been wild shrooms you had before. But I can say I have never tasted any good shrooms!
I think spitz kopf are similar to liberty caps. Anyone know?

kits are not that productive, also, did you take any shrooms days before your trip? You can build a tolerance pretty fast with shrooms, requiring you to take more to feel the same effects. 2 g's dried for that experience you mentioned sounds a little iffy to me. Do you think they could've been laced?

Before that trip, I hadn't tripped LSD/shrooms for about 2-3 years (tripped salvia a couple weeks before though)

I weigh about 110 pounds, and I did back then too.

Do you think it is normal for TC or any cubensis strain to not get visuals from 4 grams?

Use PF Tek and some cambodians, cambodians or mazatapec there pretty potent in my expeirence.

Yes, they were cracker dry.

and in general, my mushroom trips (not Treasure Coast) were like
visuals = lots of smearing, stretching, tracers, halos, wavy, weird shadow/ripple effects
body sensations = slight numbness in hands and face, feeling of melting/merging with (or sinking in) chair/bed/floor, slight stomach discomfort
mind = thinking really fast but usually able to concentrate on one thing, can't sleep but I feel kinda tired
physical effects = dialated pupils
smoking weed = enhances trip

and acid was like
visuals = everything moving (twisting, turning, breathing, shifting), tracers
body sensations = I feel cold, a weird itch or something I can't really describe (which is actually enjoyable)
mind = thinking extremely fast, confusion, hard to concentrate on one thing (and hard to stay still), can't sleep but don't feel tired
physical effects = shaking (tremors?), sweating a lot, heart beating fast, dialated pupils
smoking weed = makes me paranoid

When I took acid I got visuals for about 8-9 hours, then a lasting high/mind trip for another 4-5 hours.

I never get paranoid on acid or shrooms, but I do on weed and salvia (and pods, but I think I may have stopped doing datura for good).

PS. Which is the best place to get kits or supplies? I have been using eBay.

it can have a lot to do with what you have eaten. a friend has grown GT and taken 2.5g dry and laughed for four hours straight, with medium/ hard visuals on an empty stomach. but he took around 3.5g thia in amsterdam after a meal and very little effect slight happiness and slight visuals with concentration. don't give up home grown can be wicked!  :grin:

I'm a cheese addict. I noticed that if i eat alot of it b4 tripping i don't get off near as good as if i eat other shit.
I'm not sure whats up with thaa or if it's just a mind thing. I only eat that white hot cheese so maybe it being hot has something to do with it.

dairy does numb the effects. Stay away from eating anything with milk in it before tripping.

they usually have a few diff kinds and diff levels of hot sometimes they have diff kinds of peppers but there all good.

The best place to get any supplies, other than the spores, is your local "MART" store (K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Target, etc) and your local hardware stores/gardening stores. I'm still new to the field, but found everthing I needed around my area (and I don't live in a very large city). The only thing I had to order on-line was the Vermiculite, but I think I could have found it here if I would have looked a bit harder.

I had trouble finding vermiclite also until I looked in the pet store. It is for turtles I think.

The grower has
6 wide mouth jars
1 heating pad
1 box (the grow chamber thing)
1 pressure cooker
rubbing alcohol
latex gloves
dust mask

Should I tell her to use the same method as before (BRF substrate). Since she bought the kit last time, this time she would only need to buy perlite, vermiculite, brown rice flour, and spores. Would it be good to use this again or do another growing technique (such as the growbag)?

Ok, the person selling the mycrobag says that they have many p. cubensis strains... and also a "p. cubensis version of psilocybe azurescens." Does anyone know anything about this? It doesn't sound right. Is it just the psilocybe azurescens species?

have HEARD that B+ was introduced as an easy to grow Azur... but its really just cubensis. ppl just say its 'different'

never had any experience though...sounds interesting

I don't know if it's good to give sources for these or not, but the guy selling it on eBay sells it at $70. That's all the info I'll give, and if that's too much, I'll edit my post (if the mods don't first). So should I ask him more about that strain?

Ive had freinds trips nuts off eating like a cap and a half and like 2 stems.I dont know what kind they were but this leads me to beleive that you could trip buts off of 2 grams. :tongue:

Wow, I just got an e-mail from the site where I ordered the kit, and they told me about another site that got busted. The DEA said selling spores and telling you how to grow shrooms is like giving ingredients for crystal meth and instructions on how to make it. My site used to have grow info too! The info was only available to buyers though and they took that part off their site.
