source of both is fungi perfecti: http://www.fungi.com/product-detail/product/grifola-frondosa-culture.html AND http://www.fungi.com/product-detail/product/hericium-erinaceus-culture.html (got the slants directly from FP still with the FP labels and all on them, and no i didn't pay that much for them... lol)

don't know yet, just got grains colonized, should be getting to substrate sooner than later; but judging on the source, i'm pretty sure it should be a good fruiter.
P.S. sorry for slow response, haven't been able to get on in a day or two.

Hey all,
I think this is the correct place to offer up trades? Although I dont have any wedges to share (besides the common pearl oyster and shiitake), I do have some lab supplies to trade for either a lions mane and or enokitake wedges- Take a look a the picture below.. I have several glass test tubes, a couple glass petris, I have several moneject tubes (note: these tubes are for blood collection and have been treated with sodium heparin, a blood thinner. Although most likely non toxic to mycelium, I usually wash it out good before PC just to be safe. they work great for LC). I also have a whole unopened and sterile package of plastic tubes with lids and a bunch of parafilm. PM me if you have something to trade!

you've been registered her for 3 years and you don't know this already? This, as the first post in the thread says is a 'gets a free wedge' thread. The idea isn't to trade really...it is to offer a wedge and receive one, usually not from the same person you offered to. Though I am sure someone would be happy to 'trade' you for those supplies.....this is more in the line of 'giving' and sharing I think. The way I have gathered it works is, someone offered a wedge of 'something' awhile ago out of the kindness of their heart. and then the next person who has one to offer then says VVVVVV gets a free wedge of <Insert what you are offering here> VVVVVV and they 'get' the last wedge that was offered, and someone repeats it and gets the wedge they are offering. I think people try to keep it going with 'class' though. offering legitimate strains, monocultures/etc. the more rare obviously the more prestigious they are for offering, and the more kudo's they deserve, I think. Some even sweeten the pot and are more prestigious even for offering more than one wedge or some especially rare or sought after strains. Back in the ages royalty used to toss coins out of their carriages for the poor or less fortunate sometimes as they went down the street, it was a means of giving back and sharing with the community a little bit...I sorta personally look at this like that, and there have been a few in this forum who have helped me, just out of the blue. If I had the cultures you asked for, I'd send them to ya. I do not yet, but I may soon. My next step is going to be becoming a supporting member.
oh p.s. there is a 'trade' area, but to gain access you have to of been registered for 90 days I think and have at least 100 posts.... you have been registered long enough, but evidently you haven't posted the 100 posts in the 3 years you've been registered to gain access yet. Love your oyster baskets you did though.

GroosBrewz, try making a post in the marketplace with your offer. You need 50 posts to access it, so it should work for you.
I would be interested in your glass petris, so take a look at my trade list and let me know if we can work something out.
