Dunking then Casing?

I'm curious to hear if anyone has experimented with dunking cakes then instead of fruiting them as cakes, instead crumbled them into with a normal casing technique? I would imagine this would product greater yields, any ideas?

this isnt really that advanced, but yeah, it will work.

just make sure the BRF is fully colonized all the way through or you can expect Trich.

I dunked my myc. in a strong peroxide water mix.About 25% peroxide! less than 2 weeks later I have got really nice mushrooms. This casing was ready to fruit twice as fast as past casings that were not dunked. It seems to make a huge difference.

i was think about this, though i have not tryed it. woudnt the casing layer rehydrate the cake? not as well as dunking it would, but i dont see why it would not work.....
