Has any one ever used coffee, either as whole beans or ground as a substrate or additive....I was thnking of trying this for a couple of months....

ok so far no responses....I'm trying it tonight with ground coffee....some mixed with grains....and one straight coffee....hope the caffene doesnt keep them up all night.....

so far I have discovered that Coffee can retain an incredible amount of water, and I have added an extra dose of Gypsum to help buffer the acidity....now its time to PC the little guys.....

Maybe add some yerba mate for the amazing amount of nutrients contained in the product. It also has caffeine. Just a thought.

I thought coffee was highly acidic (2 .3 .2), if it would make a difference...

it is acidic....I moved it to the grow log forum.... Coffee Cakes....
on a slightly dumber note....if it's acidic, wouldnt you trip better....
