actually, I never saw your old advice. we must have both posted in the thread at the same time :tongue:
you have helped me out a great deal, and I thank you for it....i wouldnt ignore you purposly(sp) :biggrin:
I ended up makin a quick run to the store and buying more verm....my jars are done, and tehy are cooling. i plan to innoculate tomorrow.

I guess that means you decided not to reuse your old substrate. That would be my suggestion. Bake it to dry it out and use it again. That or go buy some more verm.

Use perlite or a mix of perlite and vermiculite. First successful batch using perlite colonized in 10 days with no contams.
50/50 perlite vermiculite.
