effects almost nil....

k, here's the dealio.  I grow lots and lots of good fungus, and I've been enjoying munching it down for the last 5 months or so.  first time, did almost 2g, and had strong open eye visuals.  the effects seem to get less and less each time I do it, and I've tripped around 8 times in the last 5 months.  last weekend, I had a couple pals over, and I had 4g, with zero visuals.  from the same batch, both other guys had crazy trips on 3g each, although they have gone on the ride about half as many times as me.  my question is, do I need to try taking around 6g to get serious visuals again?  if I go that big, do I risk falling into a hole?  any long time trippers got advice for me? 

for reference, I'm the kind of person for whom mdma lost nearly all effect after 6 or 7 experiences.  can I overcome my tolerance?

Ummm.. you're best bet would probably be to take a break. I have noticed some people can develop a tolerance for not only the chemical, but the experience itself as you become more familiar with it. 8 times in 5 months really isn't too much, but I think 5 times in 8 months is a lot better for both your body and your mind.
