How can your soul leave your body, when your body dosent realy exist to begin with and the soul dosent exist either. I agree that the mind exists and thats it for a soul to exist that means that we must of been created by some higher being and I simply dont beleive in that the thing that created me was me.
Also as for the hearing dead relatives on the operating table, sorry but I cant beleive that because there is alot more evedence supporting rencarnation than any soul crap and any dead relatives will just simply be reborn.
As for the out of body stuff, it is possible to project your mind to other places because we are just dreaming anyway and I also remember reading somewhere that the goverment do try and use remote viewing on other countrys.

You don't have to beleive in any soul, but none the less OBE's are definately real. I don't know why they are possible, but obviously since so many people have had them, not just the gullable they are obviously real, I don't see how anyone can think there not. I have had them, they are amazing experiences.

If they were "real", i.e. not just an internal brain-state nor imagination, then they would be objectively verifiable; which they are not.

Explain to me what you meant, I didn't understand. OBE's take place apart from the nervous system. People have reported events that are happening far away from the person and their claims verified. I am so shocked you people don't beleive they can happen? I have had them happen, why wouldn't they be real? I am not saying they are mysical or spiritual, purely scientific and like any new science it is unwelcomed.

The CIA's remote viewing program(Stargate) had something in the area of a 50% success rate. Even a rate this high wouldn't be expected. They have had some extremely accurate cases. There is a wealth of documentation on this subject. A google search should turn up plenty of information. http://www.astralsociety.org/index.php?b=Database&c=Downloads This site contains scanned copies of the declassified documents. Although the quality of the images is rather poor.

I just had that experience on my first trip on shrooms on tuesday. I wrote a trip report in trip tips. I floated through a sea of memories and thought i may have died because i couldn't feel my body. I saw myself grow from a baby to my current state, it was an amazing experience, and suprisingly it wasnt scary even though i thought i may have died.

btw oobe != astral projection
they are 2 different things...and astral projecting is your mind project things...like a dream kinda...and oobe is just what he said...the soul leaving the body but still being connected.
Yes people have had them and not even realized it, tried to talk to people saying "im ok" and stuff and they were freaking out thinking the person was dead but in reality they were just floating outside there body. Later things that they saw happen that they could not have possible seen from there pshyical form was verified. That should be all the explanation that you need in order to believe it.
But i was uncertain too....until i saw it happen to someone. Kinda freaky. I recently have been meditating at least 30 min - 1hr everyday. I have had the whole kudalini experience when i first started meditating...i can focus pretty easily and loose all feeling in my body....i have come close i feel but not reached the oobe stage yet. Ever since i have made it a priority t meditate everyday i can remember my dreams...sometimes its hard to tell them from reality...like i will think back on them as if it happened yesterday like im about to tell someone what i did...and then im like oh yeah i forgot that was just a dream...il have about 3 dreams a night.
I haven't reached lucidity yet but im working on that too. I now believe that there has to be something driving us besides just our brain and such. But has someone ever dies from being separate

How were these experiences induced?
How do you know they were not just hallucinations, or a dream that seemed very much like reality? When we are dreaming; we are normally not even conscious of the fact that we're dreaming. We think it's real.
-RebelSteve
You keep demanding scientific proof that consiousness can exist outside of the physical body before you'll believe it. You'll never see proof that it does or proof that, this is key, does NOT. So believe whatever you want. I've become consious I was dreaming while I was doing it, its called lucid dreaming. I've also felt like I was dreaming while I was wide awake and not I wasnt on drugs.

If you go into thinking about something you havn't experienced, and beleive it to be impossible or false your brain will try as hard as it can to make it your reality.

Well I'm going to college for neuroscience, and hopefully once im done i'll be able to scientifically document some of these things that seem so strange, and research how drugs work etc...
