Just wondering if its possible to trip off a cake and how much youd have to eat.

I think a better question would be: "Why do you want to eat a mixture of Mycelium, Brown Rice Flour, and Vermiculite?"  :smirk:  However there are possible methods for extracting the alkaloids from the cakes, although I have no clue where the teks are or how to perform them.

well.... yeah. dont eat vermiculite... i mean.. jeez its dirt. if your that hard up... use an extraction tek. PF website has one. If your really really hard up... boil your cake.. make tea. If you INSIST on eating it... well at least use a grain tek... preferably like rye berries.. i mean would you really wanna eat bird seed ? just MHO

I did it before. I ate like 3 cakes and tripped mildly. I think for a good trp eat like 10 or a dozen cakes. You will also be poopoing out vermiculite for a half week. Its better than fiber or bran muffins to make you regular. :wink:

wouldn't eating ten dozen cakes make your stomach burst or something? thats quite a bit.

i'd also be worried about puking and having a stomach ache during the whole trip. That'd suck, big time.

wouldn't drinking milk inhibit the absorbtion of the alkaloids? since the main protein would coat your stomach and intest. walls. Isn't that the point of dirnking milk following consumption of a possible toxic substance ??

naw man. I didn't mean ten dozen. I meant ten or a dozen. Like ten or twelve. And it's still a lot. I could only handle three and I thought it was a waste. But if you're having problems being regular I highly reccomend it cause the vermiculite is like a bran muffin.

Well, I just ate one of my cakes yesterday. I was trying to fruit it for two weeks, but the sucker wouldn't produce! So I took the cake and ate it raw with lots of water and honey, I felt like I was on fear factor or something. This was a koh samui cake that had a heavy coat of mycelium.

Let me tell you something, you only need ONE cake to get fucked up, but it's definitely not in a good way. It's not really an exciting trip like when just eating the mushrooms themselves. It's more like a 'I feel poisoned' high. So......when all is said and done....DON'T EAT CAKES!!!!

I hope others can learn from my experience by reading this post if they are curious about consuming cakes. It's not fun!
