lol! whats your take on shamwows?
im thinking i'll get some geolite, it seems to be larger and of a more uniform size, so it shouldnt fall through the holes as easily. obviously, i could have done a bit better with it.
all in all i'm liking working with this clone, i love the uniform size and having them mature at once. bad thing about gt's ime is they hold a death grip on the sub, i cant harvest w/o ripping up chunks of sub with it. casn i cut themm off, or will the bit of stem left rot?
edit: and considering i had fair results i think papertowels ARE fit to sniff perlites jockstrap, though not fit for much more.

I should not smoke pot and post at the same time. Somehow I thought I read that you tried them and they were weak. I just looked back at this thread and I have no idea why i thought that.

went ahead and harvested 3rd tub. it beat the other 2 by a mile, @ 738g wet.

hard to believe these were cloned from a fruit that grew singly, these are some nifty clusters.

This makes me doubt the theory that you can even clone for clustering.

Perhaps it is just that more successful grows can appear to be clustering simply because so many fruits come up in the same area?
Just a thought.

based on the 1st tub i would probably agreed, it was hard to tell. but these others are definately growing in clusters, there are very few single fruits.

just for completeness, 4th tub came in at a whopping 946g wet. this is the fc i put the shamwows in. 2 of them covered the bottom holes, and i soaked them down good w/ a spray bottle. wet weights on these is directly related to sub depth, no surprise there, but i was surprised that even as little a difference as 1 qt of bulk, 1/2 inch of sub meant a huge increase in weight. thats what i saw with this grow, anyways.
1st flush for 4 tubs, 2753g wet. daddy's so proud!
