Joie said: It's been a great weekend for finding libs on my little walks, they are still massively outnumbered by a lot of other mushrooms but I have passed the 100 mark.
Dinner tonight included a Vascellum pratense and lots of raspberries, and I just found some nice Suillus grevillei for breakfast. I feel blessed. To top the weekend off my visitors made pictures using Coprinus ink:

that is cool man!

cedar is the devil man. its the main reason why it took me sooo long to find them is that they use almost exclusively cedar wood chips in the landscaping here. any hardwod is good. fir will work too.

Ate about 75 dry libs at the weekend and then some fresh ones while I was walking. My friend was interrupted by his relationship, rude of his gf since he had set this time aside; so I had a beautiful walk in Welsh valleys. Was sorry to hear he had a more stressful trip but I saw it coming. If you're day-tripping with friends those few hours are for your enlightenment or enjoyment, I advise firmly warn off other company so you can all experience the movie as it were and not have to try and deal with other shit during that time. Otherwise can be like experimenting with Tequila right before a job interview or something.

hey tell a stoned canuck what the fuck a cricket pitch is anyways????

we dont play cricket here. although last summer i was workin on the road and i had a friend in the town i was in, its one of those ski resort towns. well he lived with some dudes from the uk and we got like 20 people together, from town, all aussies and englishmen and irishmen and played cricket. it was actually really fun! it wasnt a serious game, everyone was drinking beer so it was cool.
but i dont doubt you find libs there then, i have found small patches of libs in a baseball field many years ago here in BC. minute comparisons to real fields tho. but for a quick check in town, i'd be hittin too.
