Some recent finds (Inactives from Aus)
    #12950434 - 07/25/10 01:43 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Just thought that I would share some pics from a recent hunt. It's been relatively dry lately but there were still plenty of mushrooms out in the forest. So here are just a few that I found...

Crucibulum laeve

Panus fasciatus - a furry little mushroom with deep purple gills

Mycena clarkeana - one of my favourites

Omphalina chromacea - a cool little lichenised fungus

Amanita xanthocephala

Stereum illudens

Laccaria sp.

Pholiotina rugosa (aka Conocybe filaris)

Maybe an Entoloma sp.

Unknown - maybe a Lepiota - any suggestions?

Now known as Lichenomphalia chromacea.

I'd call it that.

I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC.  I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi.  I really do.  I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them.  I think they are beautiful.  I even dream of them.
