yeah... i figured out the "secret" to the "universe" tonight...
how did i do this you ask?

"i" was just laying on the couch and decided to piss myself and the universe came unravelled as i did so
there is no god is as valid as saying
"i am god"
and if "i" had a gun right "here" right "now" i would gladly put it to my head and pull the trigger... where do you think i would go?
nowhere... for nothing truly exists
or one might say "EVERYTHING exists already" and thus all is futile OR ALL IS COMPLETE ALREADY

as for being happy in the morning "i" didn't have that gun - it's all fairly pointless

I agree... I don't know if I'll ever eat mushrooms again though. Until an hour ago I was a mushroom enthusiast.

Mushrooms, like any entheogens are merely tools, you must approach them with an open mind and a strong heart, but like most things in this world, mushrooms are not for everyone.
Some people learn all they can from just one experience with entheogens, in particular hallucinogens, and then move on, and never delve any further but still have an amazing life changing experience that they either cherish or regret.
While some people abuse them and take them on a regular basis and don't really get anywhere.
Of course there is exeptions with both of those examples.
It's up to you what you get out of this experience, but only you can know wether or not to stop taking such powerfull mind openers.

I agree with you eleutheromania, and I personally think that I will never forget my first LSD experience, and that it was probably sufficient on its own to leave enough of an impression on the rest of my life - minus subsequent experiences.
I noticed you are also frrom Australia, where exactly? Im from Sydney, (well chatswood) to be precise..

Sorry, when I made that post (in the cultivation forum no less) I was not very aware of what I was thinking or typing. I didn't really figure out any secret of the universe, but I think that I thought I did for a while last night. Also - the gun comment does not represent something I would actually do (despite Mitchnast's assertation that I was a mental case that was a danger to those around me), but rather a hypothetical statement to prove a "point". Not that proving any points was very possible in the state I was in.

From what you have said, it sounds as if I have had the same experience as you.
Letting go enough to piss yourself is actually very liberating.

Indeed. Strange how such a simple and slighlty disgusting act can effect such change on one's mind. Perhaps the only drug we need is a couch to piss on. In any case, last night's experience was by far the most intense mushroom trip I've ever had, despite having taken far more of a more potent mushroom (Azurescens). During, and immediately after the experience I was in a very positive state (if a bit loony), but about an hour after the peak subsided the massiveness of it sort of scared me and I was unsure I'd want to eat mushrooms again (what a waste of a cultivation that would be). However, as I absorbed everything (and I am still absorbing) I began to understand things better and believe I'll continue to use mushrooms for a long time to come, though certainly not as frequently as I have at some points in the past.
