how well do you think that would work? do you think I could use it to get up to 100% humidity?
have any of you used a humidifier? How well did it work?

hah. You say you need 100%+ RH? Let me show you some of my failed experiements to create a RH of 85-92% These setups all equal 99% RH and are much cheaper than a Humidifier.

then get a airstone and bubbler! simple, easy, efficient, and SMALL AS CRAP! i KNOW it works better than a humidifier! its cheaper, its smaller, its quieter, easy to use! just go get one for like 10 bones, a bubble stone and a jar.

Well according to a guide on shroomery the bubbling method produces about 15% humidity. It has a setup with coke bottles and a humidifier that produces as much as you need. Is this wrong? Or do you know of a different way.

That humidifier should work fine. Perlite and fishstones are much cheaper and more reliable though

hmm, i just clicked the link
i used that humidifier with decent results, but it always oversaturated, and never gave me enough air exchange, maybe i'll mix the two and run it less, and put the bubbler on all the time.
its all about experementation.
and by the way. a piece of PVC pipe with some weather stripping fits RIGHT into that. Put a cap on the end like i did in this pic:
i fount that it was decent with perlite and the humdifier on low with the fan on high. Kept it high enough to get 6 cakes 4 flushes.
