Think a few people are getting eager now I personally can't wait, it will be my first hunt in this area (south wales uk) and there are tons of suitable places open to the public such as cattle fields & hilltops. I have resisted walking up the mountains so far as i think its to early

You certainly are in a good spot there mate, with some suitable weather nearer the time you could be in for some monster hauls!

I was picking from early august last year in the North west. So far none up or way either. I think its still a bit warm still. Is there a thread that is keeping tack of this, or does a thread explode once someone finds some?

Surely you know of this baby:
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/8783570
Lies dormant out of season but then remmerges to constant prominence in the lead up to peak season... and then dies away as the mushrooms do...
