cobwebs and casings

After finding cobweb on a casing that is a day away from the terrarium I decided that in an attempt to kill this evil I could leave my casing out in open air so the cobweb dries out while still keeping my casing watered with an H202/H20 solution.

Will this work or will the cobweb just go away and appear tommorow when I fruit the casing?
