Habitat: Amidst immense amounts of rotting wood in deciduous Pennsylvania forest. Very shaded, wet area.
Gills: No Gills.
Stem: Attached to cap, it is a puffball.
Cap: Covered in a course powdery substance. White outside, white inside. Soft.
Spore print color: How do I spore print a puffball, aye?
Bruising: No deal.
Other information: They were growing in groups of 3-5, sometimes just one.
-------------------- No matter where I am hunting, I find one golf ball every time.

Looks like you nailed it. They will be fine to eat while still white throughout when cut in half.

I cut them and washed them already. All but two were pure white in the caps, and some had a bit or darkening in them stems which I cut off. These look like the are going to be good, but I first want to hear that I am right from a TI.

As long as you have sliced them and made sure they are not Amanita "eggs" (which they are not), then you are fine in eating the white ones.
Feel free to wait for a TI.

I made them before work today in scrambled eggs. It was quite good. Wouldn't say they were as choice as the oysters, but they were tasty none the less. I would eat them again if I come across them.
