I have a pot plant casing i did with verm on bottom and soil on top both pasteurized for about 90 minutes at about 140-170 F. The casing was also made with one 1/2 pint millet cake. I left said casing in the incubator for 4 days covered in foil on top of saran wrap. Looking on the fourth day I saw some mycellium creeping up one end looking very health and super rhizo so white and crisp but on the other side there was cobweb (dramatic music!) and on closer inspection i could see little tiny tiny pieces of green fluff burn !!! so i sterilized a spoon and cleaned off the little fluffs. dug around there areas for closer inspection removed the soil any how. then i dug out the cobweb which hadn't spread itself under the serface (phew) I then decided to check what the myc was like after all this had just become an experiment and no longer a step by step thing.... i lifted up the cake and boom baby 3 inches of hardcore rhizo myc @!!!!!!! So i put it back down and repatched with more pasteurized soil re-saraned it more tin foil. i also took my incubator and cleaned it out with anti bacterial soap then a quick water dilute bleach spray another soap cleaning. put my casing back into the incubator. Today i looked two days later!!! and they're are hypnal knots i think thats what there called. nice rhizo chunks are poking through the surface.... no cobweb i looked and the green looks absent too ive got it under close examination because i tried to start pinning wish me luck!!!
