Well kiddies now that I am back thought I would bring you all a tek I have been working on. Hope you enjoy it and have fun
This tek allows you to colonize and fruit your mushies in a mycobag. The bag will become a fruiting chamber by opening it and allowing FAE into your project.
This tek will make 2 med mycobags with 2 liters (2 quarts) of sub. Thats 3 1 liter or 3 1 quart jars worth of substrate.
Things you will need: 1 Liter (4 cups)Verm
 1.25 Liters (5 cups)Coir
1.25 Liters of grain (5 cups)(however you prep it and watever grain you use) 250ml-500ml Spent coffee grounds
 125ml-250ml of Gypsum
 Moving tape
 2 medium mycobags

A pressure cooker Aluminum Foil 375ml (1 1/2 cops) of water 10ml-250ml of a viable lc or grain lc
Directions:
1. Mix the water, verm, and coffee together
 2. Add the gypsum and coir into the bucket next and mix.
 3. Add the grain and mix thouroughly.
4. Fill the bags with 2 Liters (2 quarts) of the finished product.
 5. Fold the bag over and tape. Then fold it over once more and tape again. Now take a piece of tape and put it below the patch or wherever is good for you. This will be your reinforced inoculation point.
 6. PC these bags for 2-2.5 hours. 7. Inoculate with 5ml to 125ml of LC or GLC. Take another piece of tape and after inoculation put another piece over your point of inoculation. 8. Once 25-30% colonized break up all the colonized areas amd disperse throughout the bag and mix real well. 9. Once the bag reaches 100% colonization take the tape off and retape it so that the bag is half open. 10. Wait for pins.
You can or cannot fan and mist. Upto you. Note you will get bigger and better fruits if you do fan and mist.
After a flush fill the bag up with some water for 4 hrs then drain and wait for your next flush.

I love fat sacks.

After a few months of success I'm attempting to make a bulk bag.

I would stick 4 of quarts substrate per bag and PC for 2 and a half hours at 15-18 psi. Not sure what is going on with step 6. I am not fully understanding the tape method you use. But that's just me. You fold the bag over a time and put moving tape on it? Then you fold it and tape it one more time? Injection port? You prepare them with the tape first then PC? Where and how exactly do you put the tape on after the folds? Do you have a pic illustrating this for us? HL

I fixed step 6. I pc for 2.5 hours. I fold the bag once then tape then fold it again and tape again. I dont have a pic of it I didnt take one while I was preping the bags. I have tried 4 Liters in a bag but found better yield by quite a bit with 2 2 Liter bags then 1 4 Liter bag You could use rtv and make an rtv injection port but they always seem to fall off on me. So wat I have been doing is putting a piece of tape down (before or after the pc) I inoculate the bag then put another piece of tape over where I pierced the bag with the needle. I used the last two bags that I have right now doing this I should have taken a pic of how I fold the bag but didnt.

i tried bags a few times they are ok, but i do like how you shoot up the bags from the start. so no mixing of spawn. less rate on contams. you can use red rv for injection port if that helps anyone. you getting a bag a flush on these?

O for sure. Besides a glovebox a pc is the best thing you can get for any sort of mycology work.
