How about stopping at home depot and buying a tank of o2 for $9 and creating a hyperbolic grow chamber?

after its colonized 100% just make sure you cover the jar in foil (the bottom) so you dont get shrooms growing from all over the place..you can even add a casing layer to the top if you like... but yeah man you can grow in the jar.. what you could do is put a 1/2 inch hole in the top and fill with polyfil for gas exchange

i misread you post my bad...a friend of mine uses a lettuce crisper for one cake and fans and mists it 3 times a day...and its airtight and it works hope this helps

yeah he uses the lid of a jar with wet perlite around it ... a lettuce crisper is a plastic dome...

yeah he does mist..with the air exchanges...but to be honest the shroomies arent too big.. but it did flush 4 times and is now on its 5th..so small scale it should be fine ... he has his sitting out like one would have a gold fish bowl but instead of fishies he has fungi  :grin:

Thats a big time fire hazzard. My old lady dad has o2 from a breathing problem.
I thought about this but heres the 2 reasons i desided against it.

1 o2 is very corosive
2 the fire hazard is really bad 1 spark and u could burn down china town.

Having other things on timers theres always the chance of a spark + i smoke dope and cigs. I desided that o2 wan't 2 good a idea.
For the sake of my family and pets.
If u go with o2 please be safe. Have fire alarms all over ur crib
