colonized filter patch bag---case || !case...?

Ight guys I need your oppinion.
My frinds mother is a nice lady  and she has 100% colonized filter patch autoclavable bag, which was spawned with millet.  If one was not to case it and leave it as is,  how much smaller would the yield be, as oppose to casing.  Anybody had good result by just leaving it?

I'd recommend casing it. You're probably not going to have any problems.

Casing gets much more of a yeild, and prettier mushrooms. Only thing is that you will need to get a terrarium...(Just a big rubbermaid), some perlite for humidity, and some casing material. All shouldnt cost more than $15.

Good luck...

Yeah that's a good point u do get good mush. My friends mom had a bunch of succesful pasterized casings. However this straw/little bit of worm castings/horse poop was sterilized. Just wondering if applying coir casing over it would increase chance of contaminants?
