mescaline vs. cacti

The title may seem paradoxical, but I was wondering what the differences are between ingesting dried cacti and ingesting pure mescaline? I am making the choice between ingesting dried skins in gel caps and making the limonene extraction. I have heard that pure mescaline does not involve nausea to the extend that dried material does, and also that pure mescaline does not involve the visual aspect of the cacti experience to the extend that dried skins does. I have searched but did not find any conclusive answers. Also, I have heard that ingesting the amount of gel caps that would be needed for a high dose trip could in and of itself induce some nausea. Again, is this true? Really hoping that somebody will be able to clear up this mess of info, true or false. Thanks in advance.

Yes, pure mescaline will be much less hard on your stomach but will lack some of the depth of the whole cactus experience, since some alkaloids are missing. And yes eating a bunch of gelcaps is already pretty bad to stomach. I tried one time and I felt sick as shit for a good 5-6 hours. It also reduced the strength of the experience because having to digest that much crap is reaaaaally long, therefore, releasing mescaline in your brain too slowly, which causes a tolerance build up that will diminish the effects. I ate the same amout of the same batch of pedro without the caps and seriously, it was way more potent and less of a bitch to the stomach.
Also, when you eat the dried flesh, you'll arrive to a point where your stomach will be too full (when you eat like 40g+) to absorb anything else, making it impossible to dose higher. So I suggest you to eat some form of extract if you want to achieve crazy visuals and such things.
You should consider an alcohol extraction too, it has much more alkaloids than the limonene extract and is easier to perform, but you will have to eat more of the stuff since it is a less concentrated product.

i prefer whole cacti, but in a pinch some food grade mescaline extracted with d-limonene will suffice.
