My friend just brought over his guitar to usb cable and it works perfect on the mono out and I'm recording it in audacity.
Would using the midi port be a lot better?

I fucked around with this a bit. Nothing special, but whatever.
EDIT: And the quality is terrible

Don't know exactly how to upload this stuff yet. Looks like just 1 file per post?
Here is just a normal drum beat, I'm trying to get a cool experimental drum beat off one of the weird kits though. I think that would be neat to build off of.

I would play some guitar over this myself, but I've played my fair share on some of my other stuff, and need a new mic anyway. Any guitarists want a crack at this one? Or by all means, if you think you could swing something other than a guitar on this go ahead.

I could give it a shot. What key is it in?

Yeah the drums are a bit on the over drive/peak, but to be honest I think it sounds awesome. Gives it like a nine inch nails weird synth kinda sound. I dig it

Yeah G. I think scales in F could give it a minor tone, but the flutes won't compliment that very well.

I actually fuzzed up the drums a bit on purpose It sounded great before I had to compress the shit out of it.
