I feel like some of the best choices I've made in life were spontaneous ones. Like when you're so fed up with something that in a snap decision you decide to get rid of it, ie. giving up a drug or TV. In the instant I make a snap decision like that, I feel extreme clarity like it is the best possible thing to do, even though seconds before and minutes later my senses tell me other reasons against doing it. I think you can all relate since most people tend to do this at least once in a while. So my question is, are these decisions any more or less rational than ones that are well thought out? Does the regret you feel minutes/hours/days later for this choice mean the choice wasn't rational?

The longer i think about soemthing, the better the chance ill second guess myself and make a mistake. Im horrible with decisions, i get so wacked out with anxiety. But if i dont have time to thik, or i just randomly make a split second decision, im usually pretty happy about it. and moments later i get such clarity, and ill realize why my mind jumped to that decision. Its helped me out with a lot of shit. Gotten me into trouble with girls before though, i dont think before i talk and ill say something wrong.
