I am looking at my jars and they seem to be colonizing nice but i think it looks like there is a little more conddensation then before.. Is this normal.. Not to the point that there is a little pool of water at the bottom but i can see a little more condensation thoe..

it IS noraml for water droplets to appear in the jars when cakes are colonizing. as long as the mycelium is advancing your all good.

thanks.. yes it is actually met the other ends so i know that its still growing.. Also i know that they say that the mycelium supose to be all white.. I see in my jars some parts are whiter than others.. It goes from a very strong white in some areas and a little white like almiost grey but not that dark.. But just a little lighter shade of white..

while this is normal since the myc will also grow through the substrate and then "pop" out onto the surface there is also the possibility that these grey parts are cobweb (a bane of mine). if there is a distinct "border" and the really white myelium doesn't grow past it then it is most likely cobweb. not trying to get you worried, just spreading the info. IOW, pay attention to how your mycelium is growing, it's borders should continue to expand.
