i bought a bass mechanic cd which does sweeps from 100hz all the way down to 20hz. beautiful. i can actually choose the frequency of bass to test my speakers and tweak little things. you would not believe the beauty of a 33hz tone until you hear it. especially at a 4 way intersection when NO ONE FUCKING GOES FIRST!

Is that the cd where they list the frequency ranges next to the tracks? I bet that is the same one my brother had Back when I first started making music I recorded all the sine waves onto my computer and made a few trippy bass tracks... I even make a couple of them to compliment the frequency range of the system in my car.
Does it have the sine sweep at the end of all the frequency tests? I used to put that in and play that track... everyone would cover their ears and start yelling at me because the high end was so piercing, but by the time it got down to 30-120 range they all loved it. Right through your balls and out your ass

yep! the sweep is the best. if you watch the speakers, they start out moving real slow to each maximum extension. slowly from the lowest frequency the human ear can percieve, they start a slow rumble which tickles clits all over. girls in the backseat giggle.
it is truly a sine wave bomb. drop it upon red lights.

these are the frequencies the human ear can hear. all the way from 20 hertz, which is basically the lowest bass, to 20,000 hertz. anything lower than 20hz you can't hear. which is sub-bass, you can only feel it rumble your insides.

I'm glad you answered that... I was going to get all technical
hertz measures cycles per second in the sound wave... the less cycles, the lower the frequency.
if you've ever played with the visualizations in winamp, that's how a lot of them draw the images. the display starts off with an oscilliscope that gives a visual image of the soundwave... then a bunch of effects are added to it so that it looks all trippy while it pulses to the music.

Its a shame all the actual music tracks on Bass Mekanik (and the rest of the bass cds I've sampled - which is a lot) are so cheesy.
So many of them use the sample "B B B B B B B B AASSSSS!"
If you want a sweep that is in an ok tune check out Chemical Brothers - Under the Influence.

that song's a classic. i didn't even know the cd had actual songs on it, i only bought it for the tones.
