I just read "Magick in Theory and Practice". What an excellent book on magick. One of the reasons why it is great is because it lists the downfalls of the magician. It does this in the form of postulates and theorms to practicing magick. It lists some of the requirements of the circumstances essential to the practicing of the art of magick. It also gives an instruction of the theory behind invocation, which is important to know if you wish to use magickal invocations in your rituals. Furthermore, it is based on the Law of Thelema, which gives it that quality of enforcing the importance of Will in magick.
I suggest anyone who wishes to learn the art of magick read this text. Though it might be a bit confusing for the beginner, who has little basis for his or her understanding of magick, it has the instructions for the proper conditions for magick.

The rest of the book is in a slim volume entitled 'Book 4,' with a preface by Crowley's student Israel Regardie (who became a psychologist). Read it, then trade them at the nearest second hand shop, and move out of the Manipura Chakra to the Heart Cave (behind the Anahata Chakra), or alternatively, from the lower astral triangle to Tiphereth. You must pray for Grace to be lifted there. But that's just me.
