Amount of Verm

What amount is the proper amount of verm to use?: 1/4c, 2/3c or 140ml, as before I've used 1/4c, but I didn't realize that there were different amounts listed for the same PF tek.

For 1/2 pint jars I use 1/2 cup of verm.

You know what.

I've done the PF tek 2 times only, and both times i never even measured.

I just took a glass full of verm, 1/2 a glass full of Brown rice flower, and dumped it into a bowl, added water until the verm got saturated, and loaded in jars. with the dry layer on top. it worked fine both times.

was i just lucky???.. or is it a simple matter of having rice, verm, and correct water content? amounts of verm and brf seem adjustable to an extent!!

again, i've only done this 2 times, so i'm NO EXPERT by any means!!
