My country (USA) breeds ignorance so that those with power and "aspirations" of domination can carry it out while we're distracted with mtv, hollywood, cnn, and of course: GADGETS! TRIP-TOYS to keep us occupied during this horrifyingly bad trip

Yes, the socialization in school is important, i agree very much so. At times i will go a day or so without speaking a word, now that im in alternative schooling, i have no desire to communicate with the rest of the world....but in school i did, and since ive been out, i find it very hard to communicate in a proper manner if necessary.
