Welp, here are some more subbalteatus. Im sure you are all going: , but, I dont care, Im going to keep posting them until they die... Well, they are just about dead btw... Here are some Cantharellus cibarius (Chanterelle) And an unkown meaty one growing under Oak I uploaded them to the shroomery, so I had to cut back on image size... some of the pics are not the best of quality...DOH

wow, nice detail on the veins of the chanterelle - that picture can hopefully help many people, who look at the gills.

looking good. BTW, i'll keep following your hunting threads as long as you keep posting them.
-------------------- Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Yah, your pics are always great. BTW are those chants growing straight off the tree? It's dark but one half seems to be missing so I'm assuming so. Again nice pics but the chants are definately my favs. Thanks. - @cro

More excellent photos.
You got the "gills" of the chanterelles really well.
That last one, at first glance, looks like a Clitocybe. Could be other things, but that's my first impression based on stature.

@cro, no, they were growing under madrone, manzanita and scrub-oak. They were pretty large, but, I had to dig around the humus until I found anything. One had about 1cm of its cap above ground, and that gave way to 4 of them!!

Its really the mushrooms that are beautiful, I just try to capture their bueaty!
How sweet would it be if you could make a living taking pictures of mushrooms... ???!!
