Anyone who doesn't get a DBV or SSV when buying a whip style vape just fails on so many levels.

I dunno man, the Arizer can be either whip or bag. Sounds like a good one to me.

Forced air vapes just don't allow for the control that I like on a vape.

may not be the most efficient (its still up there) but it definitely is the most convenient and easy to use, requires virtually no effort and can be used ANYWHERE. I love my launch box.

Would running a whip style or bag into a bong with or without water be worth it to cool the vapor down?

Of course, I wouldn't do it any other way.
I run my Purple Days through my Roor with a ground glass adaptor.

It serves a really good purpose... the bowl is TINY (30 bowls to a gram), temp is perfect and the vapor is very smooth.
For big hits though, I have to use my Supreme Vaporizer (butane torch powered) which IMO is the biggest hitting vaporizer on the market.
Pity the shitty lighter they give you with it is a $4 shitbox.
I currently use TWO Blazer GB2001's torches ($110 each ) for a 23 second heatup time then 3-5 seconds per additional hit.
I don't have any vids but there's plenty of milkshots on YT.

Not sure, you do get significantly higher though IMO. The hits are bigger and you can hold them longer.

The Magic Flight vaporizer is working really well for me. I've had it for about 3 months, and it's become the only one I use (I have two other brands, but they are a pain in the butt.) The Magic Flight is small, simple, uses one rechargable AA battery, no cheap electronics to break, costs only $99, and has a lifetime warranty. More details are here: http://www.magic-flight-vaporizer.com On that site there are some good pics of it, and a video also.

It has an extremely accurate thermo INSIDE the bowl, simply heat the external block up with a torch (takes like 1.5-2.5 minutes with the default $4 torch, ~20-30 secs with a good torch) and then plug it into a bong and rip.
The heat exchanger holds heat VERY well, I can get 2-4 hits off a heatup and then it's only a few more seconds to get it back up to heat.

I have a Launch Box, it's a great vape and serves a good purpose.
Won't give you thick lung busting hits like a whip vape but it's portable and has a 3 second heatup.

Nop, that would sure suck if it was
The Extremes whip mode is MUCH better then the bags.
Is the Extreme whip mode better then dedicated whip vapes like Da Buddha/Silver Surfer/Vaporbrothers etc.? No... but it's so close that it's neglible.
The Extreme is a great first vape for someone new to vaporizing, lots of bells and whistles, easy digital temp controller, both whip and bag, cool remote.
If you already know you don't like bags though and prefer whip, I would save the $50-$100 and just get a quality whip vape.
