Don't know about it being organic or not but I get mine for $1.80/kg in my local supermarket in the bulk section and grind it myself. Never had any problems doing this. I used to get the organic stuff at the health food store but they were out the one time and I tried this and it worked. Have been using the stuff since.

If you got a WalMart there, get the Lundberg brand of long grain brown rice, its organic and cheap

it doesnt need to be organic, just needs to be brown rice. a few chemicals wont hurt you anyways. If it did have some chems in it your body would only take on about 1/100th of it. It would be much worse to eat the rice then to use it to grow something.
