Wispy Mycelium?
    #12743719 - 06/14/10 08:18 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

This my 3rd adventure into cultivation.  The strain should be PF.  This is not Cobweb as I have had that before and this does not smell.  The cakes look like a furry play toy.  I have never seen this and I cannot find any pics that look even close to this.  This has been birthed about 1 week ago and I though the pins were the 3 wisps you see  though it is like a wispy trumpet.

Can anyone identify what is going on?  I would think the cakes would be pinning by now.

I am spraying in a cool mist via ultrasonic fogger with a air pump pushing the mist out.  Mist comes on every 4 hours for 30 minutes.  Rest of the time the air pump is just running.  Temp 80 degrees and humidity is 97%.

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

Ok.  Since the fruiting chamber is in a closet I added a fan to the box.  I have it set to come on every 4 hours for 20 minutes before the 30 minute misting.  The fan is near the bottom to help push out the co2 and also circuilate fresh air in the hole chamber.  Out of the 4 test cakes 2 our complete furballs.  I see 1 cake that has pinning.  My question regarding the furballs....are they producably?  More pics.
