Hi everybody! This isn't really an ID request so much as I just wanted to share some pics I took while wandering around the woods with my camera. I think I know what a few are but I'm no expert. Before anyone asks, no i did not take any spore prints.
1.

2.Exidia Alba? This stuff was everywhere

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

8.

9.
10. Chanterelle. I had no idea what this was until i got home and looked it up.
After I found out what they were I went back four days later and picked these. There were probably a hundred or more small ones out there.

11.Turkey tails?

12.

13.

14.Sarcoscypha occidentalis

15.

16.

17. I like the underside pic of this with the light shining through.

18.

19.

20.

21.

22.

23. I've never see anything like this before.

24.

All of the above were in the woods. The next two were in my front yard.
25.

26.

Well that's all, hope you enjoyed.

1) Psathyrella sp., likely P. candoleana 6) Schizophyllum commune 8) Coprinoid, maybe C. lagopus. 26) Agrocybe molesta perhaps.
Too lazy and tired to look any further right now....

Wow, nice finds! You must have had a lot of rain recently to have found so many fungi!
I want to say #1 is a Psathyrella. Exidia alba seems like a good guess for #2. Based on the coloring and the fact that it's growing from wood, I think #3 has to be Auricularia auricula. Number 11 is either Turkey Tails (Trametes versicolor) or False Turkey Tails (Stereum ostrea), but I'm pretty sure you have to look at the underside to be certain. Number 12 is most likely Marasmius rotula. I think #13 is Ganoderma applanatum, and your ID for #14 looks right! I think #18 is Schizophyllum commune. I think #21 is Eyelash Cup, or Scutellinia scutellata. And #24 definitely looks like the Orange Mycena, or Mycena leiana.
Hope this was helpful... Thanks for sharing your pics!
-------------------- Namaste.

Thanks for the ID's guys, very helpful. Are chanterelles worth storing or should i just feast on them while they're fresh? If I was to store them should i freeze or dry them? Thanks again.
