I uploaded them to the shroomery, so I had to cut back on image size... some of the pics are not the best of quality...DOH

wow, nice detail on the veins of the chanterelle - that picture can hopefully help many people, who look at the gills.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Yah, your pics are always great. BTW are those chants growing straight off the tree? It's dark but one half seems to be missing so I'm assuming so. Again nice pics but the chants are definately my favs. Thanks.

More excellent photos.

You got the "gills" of the chanterelles really well.

That last one, at first glance, looks like a Clitocybe. Could be other things, but that's my first impression based on stature.

Happy mushrooming!

Thanks guys!!

@cro, no, they were growing under madrone, manzanita and scrub-oak. They were pretty large, but, I had to dig around the humus until I found anything. One had about 1cm of its cap above ground, and that gave way to 4 of them!!
