mycelia or cobweb????

i just innoculated 3 jars last sunday nite......... in one of them i have observed rapid growth..the other two are just coming around. it looks almost fully colonized....i am paranoid that this isnt really mycelia that it could be cobweb or something,... this is my first time trying so i dont know... could some one please tell me what cobweb looks like.. and how it differs from mycelia.???????????thanx-Juno

If you're talking about sunday, as in yesterday, then I would be worried. If you are talking about the sunday before last, I would think it's mycelium.

lol.. yea i forgot another day went past....... does mycelia look thready.... i know that basidiospores connect oan make hyphae.... do hyphae look stringy???

Rhizo growth is kind of stringy but looks meaty and sturdy and is very white. Cobweb is gray and scarcely covers the host.
