An astronaut means to me - a man or woman, who symbolizes utter dedication to a dream that needs no less than pure heart, body, and mind to be realized.
These 7 people, like dozens before them, sacrificied much throughout their life and worked a hell of a lot harder than I ever have because of a dream.

And where are the photos now?
They were being shown off by yours truly Colin Powell a couple days ago all over the media. After all, Powell *promised* America undeniable evidence of Iraq's weapons BEFORE the shuttle was launched. He said give us a few weeks and we'll have the proof.

No, this can?t be, if one should believe what you write.
You said they had to make the photos in the shuttle, cause satellites can?t make them, cause one can intercept the data being sent from the space by the satellites of by any craft for that means. So transmitting isn?t an option.
So, if they had shot those photos, by your reasoning, they couldn?t have transmitted them to earth, right?
Now, if they couldn?t have transmitted them to earth, and the Columbia crashed, how did Powell get the photos?
