right, "we kinda jacked the idea from other animals," but I don't see tool-use evolving with other animals like it has with us.

I'd say that mankind's greatest achievement is not blowing to bits yet.

I'd say the computer. We really have just touched the tip of the iceburg with computers. The future will use computers a lot more than we do now.

I've changed my mind...
Being able to enjoy freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with pasteurized cows milk ... after a bowl of skunk ... while watching The Three Stooges ... on DVD
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

It still has to happen, is the world a great place yet? NO! Once we have achieved that, then we have achieved a real great achievement.
Everything else is nonsense. All none important achievements...
