NE Ohio finds/Id req.
    #12702274 - 06/07/10 10:03 AM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Found all of these at a campground with a couple lakes...only think I found a few actives (the amanitas) but was wondering if I found any edibles or possibly actives that I've never seen

oak and maple trees make up most of the tree life

lots of finds

The ones below were found on a huge stack of straw/cow poo in the middle of the woods

Nice cup fungi

Amanitas

Found in grass

Found in woods

Puffball

Could be a bolbitius sp., like b. vitellinus. It looks a bit bland though.

I think deconica coprophila

Something coprinoid, like coprinus atramentarius

A psathyrella species, it seems.

Most likely panaeolus foenisecii.

Looks like polyporus squamosus, a bit light colored, but why not.

Perhaps a russula.

A gymnopilus sp.

Fuligo septica, dog's vomit fungus.

Pluteus sp.

Just wondering... How can you tell from the photos that #14 is a Pluteus and not also a Megacollybia?  I have been finding Megacollybias all over the place lately.
