Your best bet is a health food store..just get organic brown rice(long grain is best, no preservatives) and put it in grinder.

sounds like you were looking at 'instant' rice.
parboiling should not hurt anything though, it's just sligtly pre-cooked.

I bought Uncle Ben's brown rice it isn't instant and it says 100% natural on the package so I'll give it a try until I can make it out to the health food store.

Parboiled is a french word it means vaporized rice... so when you cock the rice it not clumps together as easy as normal rice does...
you should cook it of course
in spain we say that parboiled rice.. -no se pasa- that means... parboiled rice can be eaten lot of time after coocking without become sticky
