from what i read in a previous post, you are using dung in your casing ? that isn't casing, it,s more substrate .cover it up and let colonize . that little patch of yellow may be the mycelium dying from too much misting .

Does the growth have beaded water on it? If so, it may be overlay/matted. I can't tell since the photo is a bit blurry. I would suggest either scrapping it (if fruiting in a container with other trays) or casing (if you are hopeful/desparate). Good luck -- hope it works out.

yes and they are darkyellow i think. and sorry i try the sheep dunk just as a luck 2 months ago and the yields are incrediable , also the potency.(that times i don t know shroomery and also i haven t got so much teks in my archives) and then i decided to mix the dungs but i also use so much verms and peat.in this casing layer.sorry.isn t it enough.and i m starting to look what is cobweb now.if anyone can write something i m very glad about it.so is this an overlay ?and if i understand it right; is cobweb is a kind of an overlay..why is cobweb happened.? my casings are not like that before and also this mycellium who growth in the ryes ; didn t very strong ,they are a little bit loose because of taking the loose part from the agar.

It Looks Like its an overlay. It dosent look that much like cobweb But the yellow is weird looking. I was thinking That it was mycelium piss.I wouls simply spray with a 10% hydrogen peroxide h2o2 and 90% water h20 solution directly or right on the spot. Then put the casing layer on top of the casing.I would use moist vermaculite as a casing layer. Wait untill you see some white growth coming to the surface of the vermaculite and drop the thmperature to 70 degrees farienheight or around 20 celcius. Also put light on it and fan and give fresh air 3 times a day. Dont mix the dung with the verm and peat when making your casing layer. This is not making a casing layer but it is making a substrate which you already have.A cobweb is a contamination but it can be dealt with. Is it hard or difficult to understand what we type?

i m in a hurry also i ll send you pm for the mess.i didn t read it nowhere but i m sure it is lying around the net. i just want to say.when i have got an overlay on my casings .i cut it into two parts and put them into 2 differant case. that all.it is becomes double.and now i understand that i have got a very big bulk substrade. and i read 1/10 ratio .that makes 10 times. is it right..and i have got now just the big ball verms . i decided to crack them with hammer.i also think that before but inside part make me think.and i also want to use it with peat.why do you write just verm .is it more easy to control.?
