Glad this thread came up, just did a search now to see when they are coming around my way again.

Turns out they are playing tonight.

Looks like I better get to bed so I can get rested for the show.

Loves me soom doomy, heavy, groovy music!
Never heard of them, thank you!

Never understood why hippie festivals don't
have more music like this. Really bothers me that
it needs to be twangy folk-jam rock or reggea when
this stuff fits so very well.

you should go see them, they will be in Dallas on the 16th of April. tickets are usually fairly cheap, and it's definitely worth it. take your friend, i bet he'd love you forever.

Badass. If the tickets aren't too costly I'm definitely gonna go.
Thanks for letting me know. :sun:

Not a fan. I had 2 GB of Acid Mothers Temple & The whatever UFO and it mainly just sounded like a mental break down to me. There were parts that were alright, but for the most part I couldn't get into them.

Interestingly enough, these guys are actually playing a local venue tomorrow.

I've been trying to decide whether or not to go. I like their stuff, but it's $12 and Tobacco will be performing in a few days as well.

Personally, as far as Japanese psychedelic bands go, I like Boris a lot better.

as one would expect, listening to acid mothers on say...acid...results in some serious mental overload.

highly recommended, only for experienced heads.

similar band...check out Farflung.
