Buying Greenhouse. Need options for Humidity and FAE
    #12710729 - 06/08/10 05:42 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

This will be my first greenhouse grow and I have some extra money to spend. I'm considering getting this greenhouse:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NCTGQE/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

What kind of humidifier should I get? Are there any advantages to ultrasonic and UV humidifiers? What capacity humidifier would I require?

Also, how would I circulate fresh air throughout the greenhouse? Can I just open the zipper a few times a day?

Thanks for your input.

I use an ultrasonic. Make sure switches are compatible with your controller.

What that guy did to his humidifier seems to complicated for me. I do not have all those tools at my diposal. The plastic bin for the bottom of the greenhouse is a great idea though, thanks!

Would it be good enough if I just put my humidifier on the bottom shelf of the greenhouse on a timer? What do you use for humidity in your greenhouse Doc_T? And what do I do for FAE?

Greenhouses take some tinkering. You can fan it manually until you get something better.

Okay, I'll give it a go. What containers/trays would you recommend?

I like to use dish tubs for my containers.
When i first built my greenhouse i used a ulra sonic and a cool mist. Since then i ditched the coolmist and just run the ultrasonic.
I also just used a hole punch to punch some holes for fresh air.
