MOD EDIT: Vendor name and website on paclage.

They just arrived :yesnod:

Anybody any experience germinating Acacias?
Should I go with the boiling water tek or just soak in warm water?

Btw I can highly recommend that vendor, B & T World Seeds have loads of exotic seeds and they ship world wide
Still awaiting my obtusifolias which I also ordered there :hehehe:

For Acacias the boiling water method works well. Just boil the kettle, turn off and allow water to settle, then pour over seed, leave overnight and sow as per usual in the morning. They're pretty quick to sprout too.

i do the same, and sometiems i do nick and soak, because that works faster...

just make sure you have plenty of humidity for them, i have maybe 6-7 that i have indoor that are doing well, will put them  outdoor in the greenhouse soon enough

They're cool when they're young. Here's a baby A. acuminata, it's about a month old there but the picture was taken about 5 months ago. I should do an update. Good luck with yours!
