What is astounding is that people keep falling for these type of devices. Do some research and you will find dozens of perpetual motion-type scams from the last century. Interestingly, most of the scammers tie the "invention" into the Bible or religion somehow.

Yea swami you're right man, if one person hoaxes a free energy machine, then they ALL must be hoaxes! I don't care if there are a million hoaxes out there, it only take ONE actual working effective device to change the world.
I am well aware of the many devices that have been "invented" but never worked or those that have met with an shadowy fate, I just thought it migt be interesting to post the declaration of a device that might be feesable. If it does work...GREAT!!, If it doesn't...Im not gonna lose any sleep over it. But should another one come out after this I will be excited about it, and if it doesn't work Ill be excited about the next one...and so on and so on, the cycle continues, because as I said before 1 machine is all it takes.
Just like crop circles...99% could be hoaxes, but that 1% that isn't is Earth shattering!

The stupid thing about these is that people still listen to people like Dr. Greer after such a device proves a dud or hoax. They just let it slide and seize on the next magic engine. If this guy is as enthusiastic as he sounds I'd like him to stake his reputation and his project on the reality of this device, and if he can't put up, then that's it, he goes away and we never hear from him again.
But that won't happen. It'll drag on for a few months of 'tests' and then go nowhere and then there will be a new device and this one will be the one, and the True Believers will jump on that one excitedly. I've been following this stuff for a while actually because I find it interesting... but there's just no end to it.

Zakkly. On the audio presentation, Greer gives a pre-announcement for an upcoming announcement; whatever the hell that means. Perhaps it means his foundation is running out of money and needs more funds.
I was totally relieved when Stephen told us it was a human invention and not stolen alien technology. *Whew*
BTW, is this the same guy that got a group together in Pahrump, Nevada a few years back and tried to signal to some UFOs with flashlights and strobes?

Actually, negative entropy has been observed at very small scales for short periods of time. It may be possible to develop a machine that can extract energy from ambient heat.

Yeah, but the odds that this is a scam are pretty friggin' high. If I spent any energy getting excited over this, I'd have to waste energy getting excited over 2465373474374521346 other ridiculous claims, and by that point I'd be so spent even a perpetual motion device wouldn't bring me back to life.
Until one of these claims comes with good evidence, I'm not going to take any of them seriously.
Oh yeah, I saw some really old guy wearing a Q-Ray bracelet the other day. I had to laugh. Age does not mean wisdom.

Isn't a solar cell a 'free energy machine?' Aren't devices that harness ocean wave power 'free energy machines?
No more so than a hydro-electric dam. As we are not working for the energy, you could call it "free", but that is not the generally accepted definition, which typically means "no energy input into the system".
In the examples you gave, the input is solar energy.

Free energy will never happen when people stand against each other.
People are to busy making profit, for some wiseguy to show up with something free that could destroy they're profit flow.
It will not happen. They made the hydro-engine disappear also. When Shell (the oil company) bought the product for further research . Sure, and monkey's will fly from my ass..

Of course it should! - if you have infinite time to judge them all. This particular device has nothing on which to judge. As I already stated, it is a pre-announcement of a possible announcement, which is not even remotely convincing.
Whether such a "zero-point energy" device is from "free energy" or not, will make little difference if it works. I checked definitions here and there and they vary wildly, so I do not strongly back-up my definition as it is quite secondary to fucntionality.
